Plan your pregnancy with Unwanted 21 Days

Unwanted 21Days

Unwanted 21 Days is a medical gift to couples who don’t want to have kids for some time. It is a non-permanent solution to family planning. It is a simple, effective and regular oral contraceptive tablet for women who want to delay their pregnancy or space the next child.

The Unwanted 21 Days pack contains 21 hormonally active tablets. Each pill contains Levonorgestrel and Ethinyloestradiol.

How does it work?

These tablets offer a protection against pregnancy by preventing the fertilization of the egg by the sperm. The hormones contained in Unwanted 21 Days prevent contraception by inhibiting the release of an egg from the ovary. These synthetic hormones also thicken the lining of the female reproductive tract and making it unsuitable for the sperm to enter uterus lining. These synthetic hormones also prevent the attachment of a fertilized egg to the uterus. In short these hormones control the functioning of uterus and the ovary.

How to use it?

You must start the first tablet on the first day of your periods or menses (also referred to as D1 by gynecologists). Take one tablet everyday for 21 days and make sure you have it round about the same time for better results. Wait for 7 days after you finish the first strip. You will have had your menses during that time. Make sure to start the second pack on the 8th day and continue the process like previously. Please note that for the second pack and the packs thereafter, you are not required to wait for the first day of your menses. This is only applicable to the first ever pack that you take.

Few things you need to take care of:

  • Always ensure to take the tablet daily at exactly the same time. Set a reminder on your mobile phone to help you.
  • Never miss any dose. If you have missed a tablet, take that as soon as you remember. You can take two tablets within 24 hours – in case you have missed. But, never take more than two tablets within 24 hours.
  • Do keep your gynecologist informed about any developments with respect to your health.
